Pinback and Silverchair

Writing a book. Listening to the latest from Pinback and Silverchair.

Pinback is starting to sound more like Rob Crow’s old bands, Heavy Vegetable and Thingy. This is a good thing.

Silverchair’s Young Modern is the album I was hoping for from The New Pornographers. Van Dyke Parks did some of the arrangements, which is just phenomenal.

Music isn’t as central to my sense of self as it once was, but I’d be lost without it.
