Things get stuck in my head. This is where I put them.
Just got back from a ballgame. Sat in front of two guys who didn’t know the difference between funny and loud. Or maybe they knew but didn’t care. Truth is, I don’t know the difference. Or maybe I know but don’t care.
For the record, this post is neither funny nor loud…

Unfortunately, I have seen this behavior and in my younger days, I am ashamed to admit, I was guilty of it as well…. I believe it is called being obnoxious, and many people seem to mistake it for humor.
When did wit become so undervalued?
I acted that way, too, when I was younger. This could be part of the reason it bothers me now.
