Galactica Withdrawal

I’m having a crisis. Battlestar Galactica just finished its current season and won’t be back until 2008.

Say wha’?

I mean, I’ve got baseball to keep me occupied for the next six months or so. But what the heck am I supposed to watch between November and some undefined date next year? Really, I can only take so much David Spade.

Is it out of line for me to say that this is frakked up? No, I don’t believe it is.

BSG is a fantastic show. While you wait for the new season I recommend Rome, Six Feet Under, Entourage, Dexter and Arrested Development.

Thanks, Bjorn, for the tips. I’ve watched (and enjoyed) Arrested Development. Haven’t seen the others, though I’ve heard good things about all of them. Will have to check those out…

If you’re still looking for suggestions, the last two seasons of DS9 (under no circumstances start at the beginning of this one), The West Wing (A sci-fi show of sorts…), and Sports Night.

i dont know if you have netflix or do block buster online but if so rent seasons 1-4 of penn and tellers BS. its a great show.

BZ: Thanks for the suggestions. Sports Night is one of my all-time favorite shows. As for DS9, I’ll have to give that one another chance (along with Babylon 5 and Enterprise). Unfortunately, I did watch DS9 for the first few seasons and couldn’t get over the fact that they weren’t on a spaceship. A little Quark goes a long way…

B.S. is on Showtime thats why most have not heard of it. Do a search for it on youtube thier is a ton of clips.
