Bach on Mandolin

So, I’m watching Jeopardy and the contestants are given “The instrument playing this solo in a piece by J. S. Bach” as an answer, followed by the unmistakable strains of a harpsichord. The contestant who ends up winning offers, “What is the mandolin?”

I laughed out loud. Mandolin in a Bach piece? Really?
