Always Bring an Acoustic Guitar to the Gig

In this case, I am coding pages by hand so I can continue to communicate with folks. They can’t provide comments, which stinks, but I figure the temporary fix is better than nothing. And when you’re dealing with adversity, “better than nothing” sometimes is the best you can do.

It’s like when the power goes out at a gig, or you’re playing a backyard party and the sprinklers unexpectedly come on during the middle of a song because someone forgot to turn off the automatic timer (mmm, barbecued band). Always have an acoustic guitar on hand, just in case. The audience might not be into “Kumbaya” but then again, you are the entertainment. What are you gonna do, just sit there and look stupid?

Go ahead. Not me.
