Schedule
I’ve determined that I should be able to reach my goal by investing 4 hours a week. The songs have already been written and arranged, some have even been recorded. Almost all of them need new vocals. I’ll be working on nine songs, one a month, as follows:
- Ankle Tattoo Blues - February
- Better Than Clapton - March
- A Kind of Redemption - April
- Boulevard Break - May
- Del Mar - June
- Silver Strand - July
- Tide of Life - August
- Caffiend - September
- Stayin’ Alive - October
I intend to record vocals for one hour on Tuesday nights, record instruments for one hour on Thursday nights, and program/mix/whatever for two hours on Sunday mornings.
I will blog at least three times a week to “debrief” on the most recent session. If inspiration strikes and time permits, I’ll post more often. Conversely, if there is more work to be done with the music, I may post less. The goal is to record songs, not blog about recording songs. That said, I will do my best to maintain the writing schedule I have set forth.
